Mom’s Time Out
Mom’s Time Out: Tuesday, April 19
Mom’s Time Out is a small group that meets twice per year. Each session is dedicated to encourage busy moms with a supportive network, solid biblical principles, and practical tips for raising children and strengthening their homes.
Our spring topic will be Drs. Garry Chapman and Ross Campbell’s book, The Five Love Languages of Children. The practical and biblical grounded principles in this book will help you to discover your child’s unique love language. Every child expresses and receives love through one of five different communication styles. And your love language may be totally different from that of your child. While you are doing all you can to show your child love, he may be hearing it as something completely opposite. Discover your child's primary language and learn what you can do to effectively convey unconditional feelings of respect, affection, and commitment that will resonate in your child's emotions and behavior. This one session event will be held in Faith Hall from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Purchase of the book is optional.
