A Note About Membership
Membership is a response to God’s call to grow as a disciple and to serve the community through the fellowship and ministry of Cross Keys United Methodist Church. Membership is a privilege and a commitment to a high calling. The choice to become a candidate for membership reflects both the grace of God working within one’s heart and one’s personal decision to grow in faith and obedience. If you have been attending Cross Keys on a regular basis and Jesus is the leader of your life, you are eligible to become a candidate for membership. We invite you to contact Pastor Jeff and sign up for the new member orientation sessions.
Membership Orientation Begins
A membership orientation is coming together quickly and several new friends are on board. Sessions will be held on Sunday, February, 21st and 28th at 12:30 pm at the church, bring your own lunch… coffee will be provided. New members will be prayed over and received into our fellowship on Easter Sunday, March 27th at the 8:45 am and 11:15 am services.
Wondering what is different about being a Full Member of the church? Membership isn’t a stamp of approval that says now you can enjoy special privileges and benefits. Rather, membership is a personal response to the leading of God that says, Cross Keys is the place where I believe God has called me to grow and serve as a disciple of Christ. If you have been attending Cross Keys on a regular basis and if you have made the decision to put Jesus in charge of your life, you are eligible to become a candidate for Full Membership. Interested persons should contact Pastor Jeff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
